1956 graduate of FHS. Retired Air Force
fighter pilot. Moved back to Fosston in March of 1997. Former owner, editor and publisher of The Thirteen Towns
(local newspaper). Currently President of East Polk Heritage Center in Fosston, President of Minnesota’s Historic
Northwest (consortium of museums in the 10 counties of NW MN), President of Rotary Club of Fosston, and a Board member of
the following: First Care Medical Services Foundation, Friends of First Care Auxiliary, Statewide Health Improvement
Program (SHIP), Star Committee and Highway 2 Cruisers (Fosston’s new car club).

Judy Tollefson Newton is a retired history teacher.
She attended Lengby School, 1954-1955, and Pine Hill School, 1955-1956. She is the secretary on the
Board of Directors of the Heritage Center and is currently editing the memories of students and teachers for a book to
be published as a fund-raiser. Judy has a home decor and antique business in her McIntosh home.

Ozzie Tollefson attended Moen School
from 1942 to 1950 and graduated from Fosston High School in 1954. He is a retired educator, currently working in video production.
He lives in Hegins, PA.

Linda Bakken
Jorgenson attended Moen School for eight years. Upon graduation from Fosston High School in 1960, she
worked as a secretary to the manager of Garden Valley Telephone Company for 17 years and in the accounting department there
until she retired in 2007 Linda lives in Erskine.

Vickie Fjerstad
Strom attended six years of country school, one at Cloverdale and five at Sunnyside, before attending Fosston High School.
Vicki and her husband, Wayne, farmed for many years as well as holding various jobs in the area. Both became Board members
in January, 2010, when they retired and moved to McIntosh. Vicki also belongs to a Garden Club and has one of the prettiest
yards in town.
